One fish, two fish...

Bow-tie fish?

I guess that is what the catch of the day is at Lake Monroe in Bloomington! My parents have lived at the Lake in Bloomington now for over 7 years and every year my dad sets out at the beginning of the fishing season (is there a season or is it just when the temperatures are warm enough?) to make a big catch. I guess he finally had a successful trip this week! Congratulations Grandpa and Tyler can't wait to fish with you!

I got two more big fish last night. I just had to go out again because the fish take a break with the hot weather of July. Two nights in a row--and five nice fish--it doesn't get better than that (unless, of course, my grandson were fishing with me!).

Yowsa! What a success! The bow tie effect is nice - I like it! The fish probably didn't appreciate it, tho. So, does Tyler prefer to bait the hooks, or reel them in?

Love the bowtie! Pretty impressive catches, too! :)

So I take it Lake Monroe is okay to boat on? We are boating there on Saturday....
