For all of you out there who do not know (okay, MOST of you!), the title of this blog is named after the theme song for "Hockey Night in Canada." It is one of Tyler's favorite songs to listen to and watch on Youtube. Just in case you want to be able to sing along with Tyler, you can see it here:
Last night, after being stuck in the house on Friday due to yet ANOTHER snow storm, we decided to make a little hockey excitement for ourselves since we are so far from Montreal and Toronto-- we headed to downtown Springfield to see the AHL Springfield Falcons take on the AHL Providence Bruins. The three of us had a great time! The zamboni driver gave Tyler a puck and made his night! He also got a set of hockey cards-- the free give away of the night. There was NO WAY to pry those out of his hands-- the only time he put them down was when Frank arrived with a bag of M&M's!

How fun! I love the pictures of Tyler with both of you. You always have the best pictures! Hopefully Springfield won!!
Back when you were here in IN (i.e. basketball country), did you ever, EVER imagine your future would be so full of hockey?
